Newav’s talented approach to coffee and our community-focused storytelling come together in this celebration of coffee and people. In collaboration with Gab, we've selected this stunning Panamanian coffee sourced direct from Panama by Gabrel himself!




Finca Santa Teresa (FST) is a coffee farm and mill in Santa Clara, Renacimiento, Panama. Nestled high in the cloud forest near the Volcan Baru, Panama's highest peak, adjacent to La Amistad National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Farm occupies 237 acres of stunning forest between 1,400 - 1,900 meters above sea level.


A regular finalist in the Best of Panama competition, with more than a dozen awards in the last decade, FST producers a range of premium specialty coffees, including Gesha, Caturra, Catuai, Typica and Pacamara varietals.


The farm's terroir - rich volcanic soils, high altitude, weather systems are driven by the Pacific and Atlantic and a series of ridges and valley's - drives redolent of honeysuckle, lychee and strawberries. 


Lot 18 Summer, is a mature plot situated at 1,460 - 1,500 meters above sea level, planted with the Caturra coffee varietal, it benefits from shade surrounding trees. The cherries are handpicked and processed at the family's mill. To achieve a natural process, the cherry is picked when fully ripe and within hours spread out on raised beds under high altitude sun. The Cherry is turned every few hours for even drying. This drying takes 4 - 6 weeks.


Including floral notes of Jasmine, Red Apple sweetness and acidity, further enhanced by a delicious Mango syrupy texture, finally finishing on a soft caramel note. With such delicate flavour notes and a limited amount of coffee, we're strictly roasting this coffee for filter.
