Our Coffee Ethos

 

Our approach to coffee is simple: source ethical, high-quality coffee, and then roast it as well as we can to showcase its best characteristics. In short, we allow the coffee to shine.

 

Like our peers and leaders in the coffee industry, we believe in paying ethical prices for our green coffee. This isn't a statement, rather an ongoing commitment to making the coffee supply chain better at every link, for the many millions of people all over the world that make it possible for us to drink delicious coffee every morning. That, in part, is what makes coffee so special: the many lives that shape it, and that it touches. 

 

We strive to pay respect to the land, hands and faces behind this incredible product at each origin we source coffee from. This cannot be done without the hard work and dedication of our small team of import partners, and the relationships they have fostered with local exporters who in turn work closely with the single producer farms and coops we source from. Being champions of their hard work is a privilege and honour that we don't take lightly. 

 

In turn, we aim to share all the information we have on each coffee, farmer, producer, and co-op with our customers, so that knowledge is transferred throughout the supply chain. We believe it's our duty to strengthen this knowledge link and connection throughout our community.

We're not a big corporate company with endless access to resources, equipment and money, however we do have a lot of knowledge, passion and heart and we’re committed to providing the best customer service experience possible. We pride ourselves on doing things the right way, whilst keeping everything as efficient and easy for our customers as possible.

Equipment and Training

 

We have extensive experience with a range of espresso equipment brands and we can assist with equipment selection, purchase and leasing. We have strong relationships with local technicians, and - with their help - can assist with installation, ongoing maintenance and servicing. 

 

We’re keen to help you get the best out of our coffee, and we can conduct onsite training with you and/or your team of baristas.
